About the event

Join the City of Clarence-Rockland for a workshop focused on simple, practical ways to reduce waste and keep useful items out of the landfill.
Community members will share everyday skills and ideas for repairing, reusing, and rethinking common household items—showing how small fixes and creative solutions can extend the life of things we often throw away.
Have a small problem item? Bring it along and you may be able to get just the fix you need!
For kids, we’ll host a teddy bear clinic, where young participants can help mend and care for their well-loved stuffed animals and learn that fixing something can be just as meaningful as replacing it.
No experience required—just curiosity for adults and imagination for kids.
This workshop will run all-day in the Optimist Hall.
